If you've never seen it before, I recommend the film Strategic Air Command (1955) starring Jimmy Stewart and June Allyson. The story is hokey, as you might expect it to be, but the aerial footage of the B-36 is spectacular. Harry Morgan (Col. Potter in the MASH TV series), plays Stewart's flight engineer. There are lots of shots of the flight deck and engineer's station.

From the other side of the cockpit
I could could zoom in and scan this cockpit for an hour. Mixture lock lever? Turbo override switches? Engine oil shutoff valves?
These guys had their hands full.
